You do not need to create a huge complex site, all you need is a simple 1-5 page website to collect “leads” to build your mailing list. By doing this you can first collect a “lead” (someone who is interested in the niche you are advertising for) and after they are subscribed to your list, you have not lost the possibility of getting this “lead” to buy your affiliate product even if they initially left your page as you can always contact them again with your affiliate link. you can even promote various other products in that niche to them over and over again in the future!
